Well, the first thing to remember is that they aren't any different from any other building. Most of what I need help with is rather mundane. Sweeping, keeping the grounds clean, that sort of thing.

Around festival times there's much more work. And there's helping with prayers for the departed, too. Most of that involves providing paper and saying a few words of dedication. At least, that's what I've been doing when people come to pray for people who've gone home. Traveler's prayers.
