Fourteenth Prayer: A Rekindling. [Video/Action]

[It’s been a while since Rei could even find the time to make a broadcast over the network, and given her encounter with Anakin Skywalker the last time she’d offered to do flame readings she’s not going to be offering that today. Instead, she’s got a question, and now that her leg has gotten back to normal, there’s also a bit of housekeeping to take care of before some very, very important plans happen. As well as some admissions and requests to take care of.

So, early in the day, she addresses the journal with a forced smile, because one the questions is a little embarrassing. Normally she’d probably have just talked to Yukiko and Yu, but the Inaba teenagers have both seemingly departed now…which directly relates to the other subject at hand, in fact. Ami being gone didn’t help, of course.]

Hello everyone, this is Rei Hino. I’m afraid to say that most of the people helping me tend to Tsukino Shrine have departed Luceti. If there’s anyone who has free time and would be willing to help me maintain it, I would really appreciate the help. Some of the work that needs to be done simply needs more hands to be done. I’d be willing to repay anyone willing to help with things I’m able to make. If you’re interested, please let me know either here at the shrine or through the journal.

And secondly, I was wondering if anyone had some insight on some exercises for getting back a leg into shape after an injury? My leg was hurt badly recently, and I’m still a little shaky at times, enough so that I’m not comfortable with normal physical activity beyond walking. I don’t want to strain myself, but I would like to get back to normal as quickly as possible.

Action:

[Later in the day, Rei heads out to visit two very specific people. Raine Sage and Fayt Leingod can expect visits. Raine by Sailor Mars, and Fayt by Rei herself.

After that business is taken care of, Rei hits the shops and starts to gather up some things. Clothing, boxes of food, board games, and pastries in addition to food stuff and a bottle of wine. All the things one needs for an evening alone with her special someone.

And by nightfall, Rei’s got Tsukino Shrine all prepared for her promised evening with Fenimore. Some food, a present, futons, and all the things they might need for the next two evenings. Hopefully it will be a peaceful, uninterrupted night!]

[After seeing the message, Hilda decides to see the shrine herself. She has read about it! She wants to see it for herself! After all, working at such a place which honors the spirits which have come and gone may help her connect with the spirits here in this world.

It's a lazy excuse alright she just wants to see it. It gets boring when you have little to do.

The large amount of crows would be off putting if the princess wasn't used to it from her own world, even if the ones back home don't chatter like they do, and she tries to be discreet as she admires the shrine. What odd, but elegant structuring...]

[Well the large number of crows all seem to peer at the newcomer, and the young priestess is quick to notice that her companions are staring. With a little smile, she waves and carefully walks over to the rather elegant looking woman.]

Good afternoon, miss.

[And the priestess is rather pretty herself. Though her clothes are odd in the same way the shrine is - nice, but entirely unfamiliar. It feels rather peaceful though. Hilda curtsies to Rei and clasps her hands in front of her.]

Good afternoon. I am Princess Hilda, and I have come to offer my assistance. I am very interested in your shrine, as I have never had one quite like it nor one much used at all in my home land, and I would enjoy working here to learn about it and how it honors those that have come and gone. If I may.

What is your shrine to exactly?

[There'd been last minute things to get organized -- mostly related to making sure everything was sorted for Sophie -- but when she left the house with a bag over her shoulder for the things she would need over the next couple of days, she feels an incredible lightness. It really did feel like a weight had been lifted off her shoulders. For the next couple of nights, she didn't have to think about anything other than herself and her girlfriend. And whoever she met at the beach party tomorrow, but other than that time, it would be just the two of them and she felt that she couldn't be happier about it.

While it would be an exaggeration to say she walked with a spring in her step, it's clear even in how she walks that she is in a very good mood. As soon as she catches sight of Rei on the approach to the shrine, she waves and picks up her pace.]

Hello! I hope I'm not too early.

[She's earlier than when they'd agreed to meet by nearly half an hour, as she'd already left early and then also ended up accidentally walking faster than she usually did. She doubts it's going to be a problem, though.]

[And Rei returns the curtsy with a stiff kneed formal bow of her own. She's used to being around princesses, of course, but this one seems a bit more formal than Usagi. And...she is offering to help.]

Of course, Hilda-san. I'd be more than happy to have the help, and I'd be even happier to explain how things are done here. It's a little different from the traditions of my own land, but I'm trying to do something to properly honor those memories.

Would you care to come inside, out of this heat?

It's meant to honor both the spirits of this land and the memories of those who have come and gone from Luceti.

Oh, well that certainly sounds like a worthy place.

You don't mind if I come by? I am a priest, and I should be able to offer a bit of assistance around.

[Rei's just gotten everything together, she believes, and in her obsessive desire to get everything in order for the nights ahead she's gotten it all taken care of early enough to be able to wait for Fenimore outside. The ice-chest is there, with wine and other drinks, the food is waiting to be taken out of the crock-pot, and the beds and other things they'd need are laid out. She even has a bathing suit set aside for the occasion.

All the work, though, hasn't soured her mood at all. She waves cheerfully right back.]

Not at all! You're right on time, dear!

Oh? Are you? A priest of what, if you don't mind me asking?

[ She will find Raine at the Flower Shop, looking at some charts spread out over the desk and shaking her head while she adds more notes to it. She's so distracted she doesn't hear the young woman come in. Though she did take note of that entry from earlier. ]

Not that this will matter in the long run...

[Mars meanders closer and clears her throat.]

What won't matter, in the long run?

... Ah. Miss Hino.

[It may have been heavily suggested to the ninja that he look into this particular job opening. Never outright mentioned, but definitely heavily suggested.]

How many positions were you hoping to fill?

[As soon as she gets in arms reach of Rei, she sets down her bag and gives Rei a hug.]

Good. [She grins a little mischievously up at her.] So now that your leg is getting better, is this a good time to find out how well you would have managed with me hanging off of you?

[She's referring to when she'd joked at the clinic about how she would hug her and not let go if they'd been able to hug then and Rei'd said she'd manage. She is of course not serious about doing so, since it would hamper some things (particularly if she does try a yukata like Rei had suggested). Though she is hoping to spend at least a decent amount of time this evening in Rei's arms and vice-versa.]

[Sometimes you need that gentle nudge, partner.

UFUFUFUFU.]

_{[ He's out doing some of the shopping too, a chore he found mundane and oddly comforting after all that happened. He caught sight of Rei with her parcels, remembering her video announcement earlier that morning.

He came over to her, his own bag hooked on his shoulder. ]}

Hey, do you want some help taking those back to your place?

_{[ If she had hurt herself bad enough that she wasn't comfortable beyond walking, he could at least help and lighten her load a little bit, right? ]}

[Fufufu indeed]

Ah, hello Itachi-san.

[She smiles warmly at the shinobi and inclines her head. Heavily suggested is just fine with her.]

As many as I can. If you're interested, I'd be happy to have the help.

[Rei returns the hug gladly, wrapping those big sleeves around Fenimore.]

Mmmm, well, I certainly think so. I'm getting around much easier now, and I've stopped needing the crutches. So, why not?

[Grinning, she leans in and gives her girlfriend a gentle kiss on the cheek, positively glowing with excitement! This was the big night, when they'd have a chance to spend quality time together. Minako was off...doing Minako-things, and while Rei'd normally be worried about Ami...her things were still in the house so it was unlikely she'd just vanish. So, alright, she figures she can be a little selfish with the other senshi taken care of or out of the picture.

Though the horrible image of Minako deciding she wanted to spy does come to mind...]

[ She blinks, looking up from the papers. ]

I was just making notes on how the plants in here have been behaving with all of the difficulties from the lingering "shift" issues.

... how has your leg been doing?

Ah, yes that.

[Mars nods once, and then gestures down at her leg.]

It's recovering nicely. Your help and the doctors here did a good job and it's mostly back to normal, I think. I appreciate what you did for me back there.

[She looks over at the man approaching and blinks. It's...Captain Kirk. And he's offering to help?

Well...alright. Sure...]

Ah...certainly, Kirk-san.

[Her head dips slightly.]

Thank you very much.

I don't have much experience working in a shrine, but I'm willing to learn what's necessary.

[He bows his head politely in return.]

I have the time for it.

_{[ He was a good person, despite whatever is reputation might say. He
smiled at her and took some of the heavier looking bags. ]}

I guess no matter how much I ask you're going to keep using "san" at the end of my name, huh?

[Maybe they should do a sweep of the shrine before they get too settled. Luckily for Fenimore, out of the people she told where she would be, only Grune is particularly invested in knowing about the relationship and she is unlikely to spy and would doubtless be horrible at it, so she doesn't have any such worry.

She returns the kiss with a kiss on the cheek of her own, basking in the feeling of being in Rei's arms. The joke about not wanting to let her go is certainly well-grounded.]

I can't think of a good reason why not. Though maybe I will be the one having to find a way to manage when it comes to unpacking my bag. Grune insisted on sending some muffins she'd baked with me, and they're still fresh in there.
