[It's not that she doesn't notice, she just doesn't comment. There's silent appreciation in her sense, though. She's from Tokyo, she knows what dangerous neighborhoods look like, and she's more than happy to avoid them. The same goes for troublemakers.]

I agree. It's like something from a science-fiction comic. There are even aliens. [Not that she has a problem with aliens per say, but it's jarring.]

But for some sort of space paradise colony, it's a little lacking in amiable individuals.
