[In the early afternoon, people paying attention to the journal may or may not take note of a familiar scene playing out in the woods on the edge of town. An open voice-feed, clearly unintentional of an extremely confused looking girl who's definitely just arrived, and from the sounds of it is not where she expected to be...]

Uuuuaaaah? W...what sort of illusion is this?!

[An actual scream!] KYYYYAAAAA!!!!!

W..hat?! WHAT?! N...o..., its gone! But...I was just...WHAT?! Where is it?! I've got to get back...from...here and...go help the others! But first...my pen...I've got to find it? And...whats this...thing? A book?

[The feed closes with the sound of footsteps coming near, but a misplaced finger adds a photograph to the broadcast.

Somehow I cannot help but think you are making a grave understatement. [Not her world, not her business. She lets it go.]

Some do not mind being here so much, especially since they are dead or dying from when they have been taken. For them it is...a difficult subject. The rest, however, seem motivated to finding an escape.

A grave understatement doesn't even begin to describe it. Maybe...thats something for another time. [And by another time, she means probably never unless the other Senshi are OK with sharing. Sure its a different world but...]

So the dead can come here too? That...is most disturbing.

Whats that supposed to mean? [Curious!]

It means it is disturbing for all parties involved directly or tangentially. It also makes the fact people can be pulled from different moments in their lives and brought here together equally odd. Say one man comes from a point in his life, and another from further on in his time. To his friend? He has been dead for years. It makes things strange, here.

I...can see that. I've already experienced that a little bit, here. I've spoken to 2 friends from home, and they both are from an entirely different world. Same names, and similar experiences with time...but...quite different in age and appearance than what I remember.

I have heard of that happening here, but I have not met anyone quite like that. To me? Everyone is from a different shade of reality. Nonetheless, it must be very strange for you.

They...seem fundamentally the same. But Usagi-chan and Ami-chan do look a bit different. And Ami-chan is older.

You are a friend of Ami? How is she different from the girl you know in your world?

I am. How is she different? Well she's older, by about four years. She looks different too. Her personality is mostly the same, too, but she just seems a little bit more grim than my Ami-chan.

Ami does seem quite somber for her age. [But, how young is the woman that Rei knows, then? A question for a different time.] It is good, though, for her to have more that she is familiar with, even tangentially, here. And it should make adjusting to live in the village simpler for you as well.

[Adele sits back and offers their server a soft nod of gratitude, her own relatively plain personal pepperoni pizza more than enough for lunch.]

Most everything offered in the restaurants are; It does make living here a little more comfortable.

So I see. Well, I suppose if we're test subjects, its best to keep us in something of a natural state, yes?

And as content as they can manage. The better the baseline for their studies, the easier it is to detect change; even with all the variables involved.

Less a medicine, more a process. A way to create a specific sort of shift. One that might send them home. At least that is the current theory.

Is that what they tell us?

They do not tell us much of anything. This is pure speculation. Trying to understand them or their motives is difficult for the sane.
