[In the early afternoon, people paying attention to the journal may or may not take note of a familiar scene playing out in the woods on the edge of town. An open voice-feed, clearly unintentional of an extremely confused looking girl who's definitely just arrived, and from the sounds of it is not where she expected to be...]

Uuuuaaaah? W...what sort of illusion is this?!

[An actual scream!] KYYYYAAAAA!!!!!

W..hat?! WHAT?! N...o..., its gone! But...I was just...WHAT?! Where is it?! I've got to get back...from...here and...go help the others! But first...my pen...I've got to find it? And...whats this...thing? A book?

[The feed closes with the sound of footsteps coming near, but a misplaced finger adds a photograph to the broadcast.

D-different worlds?! [ oh, now she's surprised even more - not letting go yet, though. ]

But you're just Rei-chan, right? How could Rei-chan come from a different world?

I don't know. I know...in my world you're blond. and Ami-chan isn't a doctor yet.

I...think its got something to do with this place. But its ok, you're still Usagi-chan, and I'm still Rei, we just look a little different.

Blond? You mean, like.. when.. [ 'I transform', she means, but she doesn't want to say that out loud so it's more of a meaningful nudge. ] And Ami-chan isn't a doctor yet either for me back home. Ami-chan here is much older, she's from the future!

... But.. hmm, you're right. No matter what, we're still the same friends!

I'm sure we'll forget all about the differences soon.

Hey, it's just what makes me me! [ But she's laughing, apparently just taking all of it playfully too. ]

It's great, either way, that you're here too now..! You're going to live with Ami-chan and me too, right, right?

Of course I am. Ami-chan told me she already had a room ready for me. And who would I rather live with? My two best friends, or nobody?

[ but it's all in good teasing, because she giggles. ]

There's so many stuff the three of us have to go do together now you're here!

Well, what do you want to do first, Usagi-chan? It sounds like we'll have a lot of time to enjoy ourselves. And that there really is a lot to do here, too.

[Just...don't...say....Karaoke...]

[ sorry, Rei, but you know it's the first thing she'll say. ]

Karaoke, of course! Won't it be fun?

Oh, and are there any nice places for sweets around here?

I knew you'd give in, Rei-chan! [ she giggles. ]

And of course there are.. there's a whole bakery where everything is free! Doesn't that sound like every girl's dream?

[Of course she gave in. Its pointless to resist Usagi...]

It sounds wonderful, Usagi-chan. Are there any places with food thats really more traditional too? You know how much I like simple food too, remember?

I guess not everyone can appreciate cake the way I do.. [ a veeery slight pout. ]

But yes, I do! There's Seventh Heaven too, that's a restaurant! You know, not just a bakery.

Well, we can't live off cake alone, Usagi-chan. Even if it is really sweet and delicious.

You have been eating more than cake, right?

I'm just making sure! Geez, since we're not at home, SOMEONE has to make sure you eat right. We've got to stay strong, so we can defend ourselves, you know!

[Day one and she's already lecturing...oh Usagi...]

Ami-chan takes care of me too, you know! And besides, I'm old enough to take care of myself..! I can be responsible too!

[Rei signs. When Usagi gets like this...]

I know, Usagi-chan. But I worry about you, and...you're exactly the same as my Usagi-chan. So. I have to think about those things, right? You're my friend, and its my duty to make sure you're happy and healthy.

I know too, but.. you can rely on me, okay? I've been trying to do my best all this time, so I'll keep trying! I'm not a little kid..

[Rei can't help but smile now, and she has to hug Usagi...again. All the drama of the earlier battle, combined with just how...well...endearing she is...]

I didn't say you were a kid. I just...I don't know what I'd do without you.

[ At that Usagi stops the semi-childish antics for a few moments, actually, looking just surprised.. but then she smiles. ]

Rei-chan.. Don't say something like that! I mean, I wouldn't know what to do without you guys either, but we're going to stay together for a long time, right?

I...yea. Of course we are, forever. You're Usagi-chan, and I'm Rei, and Ami-chan is Ami-chan. And we're linked by fate. Forever.

[She's overwhelmed, but Usagi's right. She'll never have to worry about that]
