Second Prayer: A Proper Greeting and Mysterious Arrivals[Video/Action]

Backdated to March 16th

[Early on the morning of her fifth day in Luceti, Rei Hino leaves the house she shares with the other Senshi to go about her business for the day when she is surprised to find two very familiar faces perched in a tree not far from the house. Excitedly, Rei calls out happily to a pair of large, black crows]

Phobos?! Deimos?! Is that you?!

[The birds CAW loudly and wing down, happily skipping around on the ground at her feet. These birds had been her friends and companions for many years, and...without them it just wouldn't be as comfortable for her in this odd land. Plans now forgotten, Rei spends the morning playing with Phobos and Deimos, walking all around the village in her Miko robe with the two birds flapping around with her. Anyone unfamiliar with Rei catching the spectacle might be incredibly taken aback by just how familiar the corvids seem with the strange girl, actually allowing her to gently touch them, quorking happily]

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
[Later that afternoon, a Video feed will start up over the journal system.
Rei is sitting on a bench outside, fiddling with the journal for a moment before setting it down and standing up to address the camera properly. Her speech is very formal, and unlike her last broadcast, she sounds much more calm and collected, despite the pair of crows that peer into the camera a few times during the broadcast]
Good Afternoon everyone. I would like to take a moment to properly introduce myself when I'm not screaming and worrying about everything. My name is Rei Hino, and I am from Tokyo, Japan. I would like to apologize for my outburst the other day, and especially to anyone that I may have yelled at or been rude to.
I would also like to extend my heartfelt thanks to everyone that helped me when I arrived. I promise that I won't ever forget it. Additionally, I want to thank everyone who helped take care of my friends Mizuno Ami-san, and Tsukino Usagi-san in the time before I arrived. They are very, very dear to me and I am glad that they seem to have found the inhabitants of this village to be welcoming and kind. They have told me many good things about many of you, so I look forward to meeting you.
And...I gather from other broadcasts its customary to ask a question. So, my question is this: What are the spirits of this land like? Are they kind and helpful, or are they capricious and mean? Also, I would like to know more about the spirits of your homelands. Studying such things is one of my fondest hobbies, so I am very curious.
Thank you for your time.
Being brought into such a place so spontaneously can cause anyone to be upset. But the fact that you've acknowledged it doesn't make it as bad. I-I'm sure if, if you apologize to them it'll be alright. [ Or so he hopes. ]
Avoid? Hm. Well in my dealings with them I found most of them approachable and easy enough to get along with. Aside from Hyt who is by far the most difficult to contact or even find.
[ There's a small 'hm' for him. ] There's all sorts of spirits in mine. Anything you know from folklores or fairytales exist in my world. Kitsunes, Noppera Bous, Ghosts, Wraiths and even Yuki-onnas. They're all very real in my own world.
Yes people in my own world don't seem to believe in them either. It does make them quite sad, really. As for myself meeting them, oh yes. Tons! I actually teach a good few of them as well... [ And he may or may not have a Noppera Bou teaching one of his history classes but that's another story entirely. Unfortunately Helios is of an entirely different breed from Rei. As are the mythica of his world. They don't harm people at least the majority of them don't, and yes he does teach them too and he says it without hatred or any sort of judgement in his voice. ]
But they're perfectly fine! Around humans I mean. Though some of the more...mischievous ones cause a bit of ruckus every once in awhile. Spirits have to have their fun too I suppose. [ And here he laughs a little. ]
As for them being here...no. None from my own world at least. Luceti has it's own kind of course. But ones from Earth...I've yet to encounter any.
Ah yes. The Academy is opened to all sorts of individuals willing to learn! But you are right...about them being easily agitated I mean. It's strange waking up in a foreign land where there's nothing for you to...connect too. Though I wonder if they would be more astute in connecting with the filial spirits if, if one ended up here of course. Talking to them and perhaps learning something...
[ Ah well. It's a thought at least. ] Oh! Yes my manners. I apologize for introducing myself. It's Helios Sprensonne. A pleasure to meet you.
Hm? Oh! Well I'm a substitute at the school, yes. If you're interested in learning more I strongly recommend sitting in on a few class. World Sharing in particular if you're curious about spirits from other worlds.
In the afternoons and they're held daily. I-I suppose if you wanted more information stopping by the school would be best. Or, ah, contacting Raine Sage and Gelda Nebilim would work as well.
You're quite welcome. And it's been a pleasure speaking with you. If there's anything else you'd like to know don't be afraid to ask!
