[She'd just checked Usagi's room, and it was empty. Nothing remained of Sailor Moon save for a half-empty bucket of pudding just sitting in the fridge. With a cry of frustration, the normally reserved miko took it out and hurled it at the trash bin, chocolate oozing down the wall. This was just too much. First Ami, then that awful Apep creature taking Sabriel, and now Usagi!

Her friends would need to be told, of course. So, a few minutes later a Voice transmission pops out over the journals. Rei's voice is tight and controlled, but there's definitely an undercurrent of sadness]

I'm sorry to inform everyone that Tsukino Usagi-san has been sent home by the Malnosso.

Please think of her fondly, and wish her luck.

Should anyone wish to make a formal prayer for her, I will be available to help with that, so please contact me via the journal.

[Closing the feed, Rei picks up her journal and heads out to the little tent shrine she, Ami, and Usagi had put together months before, lighting a flame on the brazier with Eferin and preparing several prayer strips of her own for her friend and Sailor Moon. She burns them, and sends her wishes to the other girl, whereever she might be]

Just was making sure. No one should have to be alone in situations like this.

I've been thinking similar things for the last month; its why Luke brought Ami over and had a talk.

And why did you need to be talked down? Something foolish, no doubt.

My limits had changed and I didn't want to acknowledge it. Instead, I worked on getting stronger so much that I crashed into them.

So you didn't pace yourself, Monkey-kun? Power is hard to gain without pace.

...I mostly was like that because most of my partners have gone home. They're back to playing the game, but two of us are still here.

I was trying to be strong for her and myself, and for my friends here that needed support. It's why I'm warning you about these things.

[She doesn't deign that with a response. She'll -kun you if you act like a child all she wants]

I'm going to be strong for my friends here. Ami-chan is going to take this harder than I am. So I have to be ready.

[And that's saying something.]

Be strong all you want then; just don't forget yourself.

...Ami has outside support. Make sure that you do too.

[And now she's packed. She doesn't like Lupin, but she has to admit that he's not the worst person. At least he tried. And if Ami's boyfriend can get along with him, then she should make some attempt at being polite, if only so nobody thinks ill of Ami by association.]

I have friends, I won't be doing this all on my own. I'll be fine. But thank you for your concern, and for sharing. I hope your own troubles right themselves soon.

[She closes the journal now, but if he needs to leave a parting message, it's open for a half second longer]

[At least the admission gave him some peace of mind.]
