[Leia eyes suddenly widen, and had her hands not been full with utensils, she likely would've covered her mouth when she gasped. She doesn't want to be rude and wake her up, though she gets the distinct feeling Rei isn't so worried.]

[She lowers her hands.] . . . Actually, I did meet her once, but it wasn't for very long.
[A pause, after an answer that's a bit overly enthusiastic. Calmer:]
Well, I didn't know it at the time, but yeah. I remember asking her if she'd signed up for a blind date, but she mentioned that she already had one. [dodgy words like "sort of" or "kind of" were probably used as well.]
[Leia nods. She wishes her Valentines' Day had gone as well, but she was still thawing and also recovering from being in that creepy Nexus place. On other hand, though, now that she remembers--she did get to spend it with Thomas.
There's an upside to everything.]
Maybe we should save her some. It can be her brunch.
[And honestly, she could probably eat a lot of it, but she'll refrain from accepting the challenge. She has a few more bites, trying to slow down and savor the taste.]
