Yeah, I can talk about it. It probably wasn't much worse than some of the stuff I've been through here.

What happened then? Was it that demon you mentioned?

Yeah, it was. Bill Cipher. He opened an interdimensional rift between our world and his and brought all his friends with him.

Sounds bad. How did you deal with him?

To make a really long story short, we tricked him into going into my uncle's mind and then erased his memory so Bill went along with it.

...So he's gone? Forever?

As far as we know.

And your uncle's memory?

We were able to recover it, fortunate. We mostly have Mabel to thank for that.

Good. I'm glad it's resolved.

If you feel up to coming by or just want someone to talk to, feel free. I've been through my fair share of apocalyptic scenarios, I know just relaxing with friends helps.

[ And not long after that message is sent, Rei will hear a sharp knock on her front door. ]

[The door slides open, a crow pushing the open button with it's beak, and Dipper will be treated to the sight of Rei in an apron, checking the oven.]

Hello, Dipper-kun. Come in, have a seat.

[Sighing, she starts into the living room, seating herself in a big old armchair.]

How's your return going?

[ Dipper grins at the crow greeting him at the door before stepping inside and closing the door behind him. ]

Hey, Rei. Thanks for having me over. [ He climbs into a seat and heaves a sigh himself. ]

It's going...well, it's just going, I guess. I'm not really sure how to feel about it yet.

Always. My home is open to you whenever.

[She wearily looks at the kitchen and shakes her head.]

I can imagine. I've not had the fortune to leave yet, but I know it'd be disorienting for me.

How long were you away?

It was...about a month. Maybe a little longer. Yeah, disorienting for sure when it's only been three days for everyone else.

[ Not to mention all the other implications that came with being back here. ]

Only a month. That's not so bad.

[A lot had happened, obviously. Apocalypses were certainly something.]

How long ago was the Apocalyptic incident?

Uh...just yesterday? I mean, it lasted about a week, but it ended...yesterday.

[ Basically, everything happens so much. ]

I can know how exhausting that must have been.

Thankfully you won't have to deal with it again.

Yeah? You only saw one apocalypse in my future, huh?

[ He's joking. Sort of. But if he and Mabel were going to return to Gravity Falls next summer, who knows what could happen? Hopefully nothing quite as intense as the literal apocalypse. ]

Yes, just the one. Fortunately. It...does get easier after the first, though. The experience is less harrowing.

I guess you can get used to anything, huh? Even the world ending repeatedly.

Absolutely. Hopefully, though, you'll never get used to it.
