I am on the roof of our apartment trying to see if I can spot him. I'm using my own armor to track him down. Luckily he only took the helmet, the chest plate and the gauntlets. I think he couldn't reach his own legs. [A beat.]
Think you can get up here? I don't think he can get that far without the jets to fly.
Yup. He was experimenting with the armor a few days ago but now it's all in intent to destroy. I haven't seen this kind of behavior in a while. That's what I don't get...what happened? Why now? I can't get close enough to try and ask.
Yeah, I've got my helmet wired into his so I can track his movements and everything. [He focuses on that only if only because he doesn't doubt Rei's ability to take care of herself with those words.]
Tracking him won't be the issue, it's slowing him down enough to where he doesn't blow more holes in walls or hurts anybody else.
[Having a Martian for an ally is the coolest. He hangs up the Cerevice and pockets it, focusing on the readings in his helmet.] West. Looks like he's heading for the gym and I'm really scared to ask why.
[He eyes the arrow for a minute.] How far can you be to still have an accurate shot?
That's a pretty impressive range. [He says its impressive, but he doesn't sound too surprised either.] I think I have an idea but it's going to take a lot of timing on your part and running on my part. If I can get him to pay attention to me instead and follow me, we should be able to get him away from the gym long enough. I'm technically the most important person to the real Baymax. I should be the one it wants anyway.
[She nods, agreeing with him. That seems like the most reasonable solution, and she's comfortable enough with her abilities as a marksman to not hit him. So.]
I can drop you nearer, then. When you're ready to go, take my hand and I'll get you into position.
[Taking his hand, she hoists him up and takes off, moving relatively quickly and keeping Hiro as secure as she can. It doesn't take long before he's dropped off a few blocks ahead of the waddling Baymax...]
Alright. Whenever you're ready, I'll be up on the rooftops. Just...give me a signal.
[He's used to being in the air at this point so his sole focus is on where they're going and the mission at hand. When Mars drops him off, he looks back to her and nods.]
I think I've got the right thing. Just...be ready to fire. [He nods again, immediately sprinting off to catch the attention of the other Baymax.
She won't be waiting for long as Hiro catches Baymax's attention and that rocket fist soars at him again. He ducks and dodges, chasing after it and glancing up at the rooftops behind them before waving an arm and picking up his pace. Baymax is a moving target, but he's still only waddling after Hiro and now without the rocket fist has a wide open area to hit.]
[Mars follows along on the rooftops, keeping out of view. Flying overhead would have been a little too obvious, but this way she could at least keep stone between her and Baymax.
Of course, once there's a decent bit of distance between Hiro and Baymax...she darts over to the edge and fires a shot right at Baymax's midsection...]
[Baymax, impostor or not, is still not fast and the arrow soars through the air much quicker than he can move out of the way. Hiro rolls out of the way as the arrow's tip sinks and pierces the vinyl, a loud pop noise following along with the hiss and squeal of air being released.]
Oh no.[The robot stops moving, body pushing back a bit by the sudden loss of air and deflating in place. Hiro stops, looking up at Mars and giving her a thumbs up before turning to pick up the rocket arm that's started to make its way back to the clone.]
If he copied the real Baymax, he should just be filled with high-pressured compacted air to fill out the vinyl that's protecting his carbon fiber skeleton. There's a reason I called him a walking marshmallow when I first met him.
[As the hole widens, impostor-max crumples further.]
[Normally he'd be very defensive and protective of his robot best buddy, but this Baymax is a clone and the idea makes him laugh instead. He eyeballs the rapidly deflating robot, tapping his chin in thought.]
Oh no. [Fakemax is staring down at the hole in its body as the flames burn hotter and hotter and the smoke swirls in his interior. It's not damaging his skeleton, but it's definitely filling him up. The hot air doesn't match the temperature in the colony and it fights against it, and slowly but surely the robot starts to float.]
...huh. What do you know. [He's still watching the balloonbot take to the air.] Think we should just let him soar and crash?
no subject
[She will interrupt her sleepover with Athena to kill Baymax if she has to, jeez.]
And where are you? I'll put a stop to it.

[She's already starting to fly in that general direction.]
Did he just suddenly go berserk too?

[And it's perplexing to say the least.]
They can take our our powers though. That I do know

[Even as he's talking, it sounds like he's on the move to keep up with Baymax-clone.]
no subject
[There's a lot more to throwing fireballs around than...well...just throwing them.]
I'm getting closer, just a few more blocks. Do you have a way to track him at all? He's not got a mind, so I can't exactly lock on.
no subject
Tracking him won't be the issue, it's slowing him down enough to where he doesn't blow more holes in walls or hurts anybody else.

[Her boots clack down a few feet behind him a moment later, and Mars walks briskly to his side. Bow already in hand, she looks serious, ready to go.]
Which way is he going?
no subject
[He eyes the arrow for a minute.] How far can you be to still have an accurate shot?
no subject
[There's an edge to her voice, tension in her posture. hefting the bow, she shrugged.]
If I can see the target, I can direct my arrow. A half mile, maybe more?
[So about the distance of a normal sniper-rifle.]

Dude, nice!
no subject
That...sound is really...strange. Is he really a balloon?
[The hole starts to widen a little...]
What's he filled with?
no subject
[As the hole widens, impostor-max crumples further.]
This is not following proper safety procedures.
Are you surprised?
no subject
[Mars, in a rare impish moment, sends a small ball of fire out and into the hole.]
If I heat him up, will he take off like a hot air balloon...
no subject
...wanna try it?
no subject
[The flames inside begin to heat up, starting to burn warmer and warmer...filling the Fakemax clone with smoke...]
no subject
...huh. What do you know. [He's still watching the balloonbot take to the air.] Think we should just let him soar and crash?

If that happens, then he could hurt someone still. Maybe we'll get a fireworks display if I blow him up from down here.
