I guess so. I'm glad for that much, of course. And I'm glad you're still here. It's just not the same without all of us.
[They have been through this. Twice before this particular incident with the Nexus Code. Still, Usagi can understand where Rei is coming from in trying her best, as usual, to reassure her. This conversation isn't the first, nor will it likely be the last with either or both of them losing someone important to the Nexus Code either.]
I said it before, but....we have to help them, Rei-chan!
No, it's not. But you know...we make do with what we have.
[Rolling over, she deposits Usagi on one side and flops back, arm still under the blonde and holding on. Usagi's always been really tactile, and Rei wants her to understand that she's there. Really there.]
And we will help them. We just...we can't do like at home. You know that. It won't do any good to just go in head first. We don't have any information about getting them out.
[Rei is right. Usagi is usually the one reacting to everything emotionally, instinctively. She can't help that. But this is also why she has the others, who can encourage and remind her to think things through, to be more logical and careful in things. As much as someone like Usagi can, at least.
She shifts easily enough with the other's movements, hair splaying a little across the bed in the process but not as much as it could be doing if she had it down. There's relief, gratefulness there, in the way Rei allows this. This reassuring contact.]
Frankly? Next to nothing. I've been in it while awake, but there's not much helpful to say yet. It's...data, in a computer. Bits and Bytes, and nobody I know has been able to hack into it. Not Hiro, not Tony-san, or even Ami.
[And those were the three smartest people she knew.]
Some of us are going to break into the tower, and we'll try and learn everything we can. I guess, that boy Leon broadcast about it. The whole thing isn't as guarded as it usually is.
If...you feel up to it, you should go too. There's a lot of us, and we can split up, to protect people like the lawyers and humans.
You were in it? But you're okay now. But if Ami-chan and Hiro-kun couldn't manage, I'm not sure how we could. Especially me. I can barely use a computer let alone all that sort of thing.
[But the tower? Well. She might not understand technology so much. But this she could at least go along with and feel useful.]
The tower? I talked to him, about Mosley....I could go. At least that way I'd feel helpful doing something.
It was something a long time ago, on Valentine's Day. And it was really, really complicated. I don't know what to say, other than I saw what it was like. There were bodies of people, friends, and they were all asleep. Just, like in a cocoon.
[Rei nods encouragingly, looking over at Usagi through tired, drained eyes.]
I agree. It'd be better than sitting here. I'm going with some of the lawyers, like I said. You should talk to Merlin. He has more people going.
That is the opposite of a nice, romantic Valentine's....but it's like they're just sleeping? [Well. That doesn't seem so bad. If true. She knows Rei wouldn't lie to her about this, with their friends involved now and all.]
With Merlin-san? I met him before. I could at least ask him. Another pair of hands and eyes couldn't hurt. And we could still keep in touch, right?
That's good. I'd hope you'd have figured something to make up for it later.
[A cocoon though. That of course brings to mind the likes of butterflies. But they aren't anything of the sort. But she figures some sort of weird sleeping thing might make sense while their code was being fixed or the like.]
[Usagi blinks, half instinctively shifting when the other rolls over to accommodate and one arm wraps around Rei's waist with the motion. She can't help giving a soft giggle in spite of herself as she gives a nod of agreement.]
[Usagi is so in on this. Of course she would never deny herself the chance to indulge. Let alone with take out which could mean a nice dessert depending what they order as well.]

What do we know? About this Nexus Code then?

[May as well cheer her up.]
And yes, they were just sleeping. Like in a cocoon.
[And moving right along…]
We can keep in touch. I trust Merlin to keep you safe and you to keep him safe, after all. Just don’t forget your senshi communicator, okay?

Right! I will.

[Slowly Rei sits up, and then deliberately flops over onto Usagi, leaning a bit.]
And today we're not doing anything. I'm too tired, and I think you are too. Let's just...wallow.

A lazy day together sounds good.

[Good enough, Usagi? Rei's just so done with Cerealia that it's time to indulge a little.]
