Jamie nods and leans back, running all this around in his head, and lets out a slow breath. There are about a million other questions on his mind now, but they might have to wait until he can wrangle his thoughts into order. For now, he just asks, "Who else have you talked to about this?"

"Yosuke. Koumei. And my band. That's all."

Because she can't bring herself to do that to Rarity.

The usual suspects. Yosuke and Koumei are good for talking to about this kind of stuff, though.

"And they all agree that that's what's probably going on with us?"

"Yes. It all seems to line up."

So...that's something at least.

"I haven't talked much about it with anyone other than you and Yosuke. Koumei a little bit, but he's really careful about where we discuss stuff like that."

He huffs a laugh, lacing his fingers behind his head. "I told Luci once that maybe we were remembering past lives or something. Guess I wasn't thinking batshit enough, huh?"

"Not even a little bit. But we...really shouldn't be staying too much longer or people will get suspicious."

Mostly the body guards...

"I'll walk you back to the metro, if you want. I took it myself, today."

"Oh - yeah, you're probably right." Jamie finishes off his cocoa and stands up, a little reluctantly - they were finally getting into some meaty stuff, and in some ways he'd rather keep discussing it than just sit on all these ideas. But he supposes it'd be good to have some time to mull them over and reach his own conclusions, too.

"Sure, if you wouldn't mind. Nobody's noticed us so far, I don't think they'll pay any attention to us on the street as long as we're careful."

"I mean the labels."

They are kind of discussing something that could be construed as rebellious, after all. And she doesn't want them getting walked up on by bodyguards or managers.

"Let's go."

"Yeah, I get it." He leads off, slipping through the rows of tables to head for the door. Once they're outside, he tucks his hands into his pockets and chuffs a little. "Too bad there's not an easier way of talking about this kinda stuff. Guess that's what the bosses want, though - keeps us from organizing too much."
