Good afternoon everyone. For those of you who have not met me, my name is Rei Hino. I would like to extend my warmest greetings to all of the New Feathers. I'm sure that you will find something that you enjoy here, and that you will be able to make many friends. If you need any help, please feel free to contact me at any time.

On to other matters, though. Its taken me some time, but I have managed to prepare and purify a small area on the edge of the forest where I can perform flame readings and other types of fortune telling. I do not have much in the way of a shrine, merely a tent and a small consecrated area with which to work, so I hope that doesn't reflect poorly on the experience. In my world, I am a priestess, and I'm fortunate enough to have a gift when it comes to doing such things. If anyone is interested, I will happily use my blessings to offer a reading of your future. It would be my greatest honor to provide my services.

While I cannot guarantee perfect results thanks to our hosts weakening my powers, I feel that its not out of my reach to offer answers to simple questions that you may have about your near future. All that you need to provide is a question and a single hair for a flame reading, or just your question for other types of fortune telling. I have a set of tarot cards if anyone prefers that, but I'm more confident in my abilities at flame visions.

[Rei can be found at the site depicted on the map for most of the day. Its simple enough, a tent that she and the other senshi had found in the item shop, erected as a sort of open air shrine with a carefully prepared brazier on the outside. Near the center is a small round table she'd hauled out of her house, and at the entrance is a bucket of purified water meant to cleanse oneself before a reading. A pair of crows, Phobos and Deimos, dart playfully around the area, hopefully adding to the impression of the site.

Rei greets anyone who comes by with a happy smile and a great deal of enjoyment. She loves using her gifts, and if it brings a measure of peace or enjoyment to someone she's more than glad]

(OOC: If you have Rei do a reading, I'll offer up a generic enough fortune, since they tend to be very vague most of the time. However, if you wish for something more specific or want to use the reading to set something up for future plans, foreshadowing, whatever, please speak with me and we can work out some details! Hit me up in a PM and we can work from there.)

[ A wince as she takes his hand again. He might look a bit surprised and anxious at her actions. He didn't mean to treat her like that or come off as being that way. He certainly didn't mean to insult. ] I-I know. I-I didn't mean it like that. [ he's sorry. He really doesn't know what to say though. ] I-I didn't mean to-to insult you in such a way.

[ Another wince. ] I-I know. [ And he will try. Because he doesn't want to die again. He doesn't want to die by shift hunters or anyone else again. But how many times has anyone ever changed their fate completely and utterly? ]

[She lets him go and goes over to a box on her table, opening it and pulling out a small piece of wood carved with intricate kanji, ornately and lovingly carved into the wood. She presses it into his hand, ignoring the cold]

Take this. It will help. I...didn't mean to sound so cruel, and you didn't insult me. I just...I...oh...I don't even know. I just don't want to see you give up.

Helios-san, you're a good person. I hate seeing bad things about good people, because they always apologize to me. Thats all. Just, be brave. Fight with all your strength. My charm will help you.

[ He'll take with a shaky hand looking at it with a frown and then back up at Rei. He'll give her a small smile then. ] O-Of course. I, ah, I-I'll be sure to have it on me at all times as, as things draw closer.

[ As this impending invasion gets nearer and nearer. ] Th-thank you.

Of course, Helios-san. I'm sorry that I couldn't give you more help than that. When the bad things come, don't worry though. My charm will protect you.

[And if she can help it, so will Sailor Mars!]

No. No it's quite alright, Rei. This is, um, m-more than enough help. [ He'll look down at the charm with a warm smile his finger rubbing over the inscribed symbol. Bravery, hm? In order to protect the people he cares about...he'll most certainly be that. ]

I'll have nothing to worry about with this then. [ A small albeit sad smile touches his lip. It'll be okay. Everything will be fine. Even if he knows in the back of his mind that it might not be. ]

Mmmm, yes. Have faith, Helios-san. Take heart, and be brave. Just...don't forget my charm, ok?

[She means that, too. She's more than just a little girl saying pretty words, and she hopes that you understand that.]

I won't, Rei. I-I promise. I'll, um, b-be sure to keep it with me. I'm sure it'll help a good deal at least. [ Or so he hopes. With the next few days Helios is going to need it, a lot.

He'll get up from his seat then, awkwardly and tentatively, he'll venture with a small smile. ]

[She smiles back, knowing that the man will really try. And so will she. For all their sakes.]
